About

I am a registered psychotherapist in the Colorado Springs area who loves to see people embrace hope and live to their fullest. I have a Masters Degree in Gemile CobbCounseling and Human Services and a Bachelors degree in Applied Psychology.

My passion for helping others flows out of my own journey as I have gone through various stages of life and have learned that even in the bleakest of circumstances there is always hope. I have always surrounded myself with people that helped me traverse the trials of life and knew early on in my life that my greatest joy lies in doing that same thing for others.

The time spent early in my career as a school counselor has given me unique insights into the challenges children, teenagers and their families face. Frequently they long for someone to talk to, someone to help guide them down the road of healing and growth, someone to give them hope that there are better days ahead.

When I am not counseling I enjoy soaking in all that Colorado has to offer: hiking, riding bikes, hanging out with my dogs and spending time with those who I love. I am a member of Association of Play Therapy (APT), American Counseling Association (ACA), American School Counselor Association (ASCA).
